Planning

The planning department of the district is being looked by District Planning Officer. The main function of this deaprtment is to prepare District Plan and Development Roadmap for District .The department looks major Development programme which are:

Integrated Action Plan (IAP)
MPLADS

The department is also looking District Planning and Monitoring Unit (DPMU) which is a joint initiative of District Administration, Purbi Singhbhum and Unicef, Jharkhand. The unit is established with an objective to facilitate planning and monitoring process in the district.
