Bhooteshwar Mandir

Baba Bhooteshwar Mandir in Gada village in Baharagora block is a very important shrine for the Bhoktas. During the Gajan festival, the temple has a festive atmosphere. The temple is dedicated to Shiva and the Bhoktas put nails in their tounges as part of the difficult rituals. The women are involved in cleaning the surroundings. There is a pond nearby where the Bhoktas take a bath saying their prayers.
